What is a resin zipper?
A resin zipper has plastic teeth molded one by one onto the tape. The teeth are bold and chunky, and because they are molded, they can be produced in a wide range of colors to match a garment.
Should I choose size 3, 5 or 8?
Size 3 (about 3 mm) suits light apparel and pockets, size 5 is the all-round choice for jackets and bags, and size 8 is used where the position takes more stress. If the size is not decided yet, send an old sample or a photo and we will confirm the direction with you.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
For finished zippers the minimum order is usually 1,000 pieces. Colors can be mixed within one order; share the split you need and we will confirm it. Dyeing is arranged per color, so any color ordered in a quantity below 2,000 pieces carries a dyeing fee of RMB 150 for that color.
How long do sampling and bulk production take?
For standard specifications a sample usually takes about 3 days. Once the sample and order details are confirmed, bulk production usually takes about 10 days. New colors, special structures, or multi-style orders can take longer, and we confirm the schedule before the order is placed.
